The service call covers the trip and diagnosis. If a repair is needed, Russ explains the repair labor and any parts before you decide.

The visit includes diagnosis

The service call is $189 in Staten Island and Brooklyn, or $249 in Manhattan, plus tax. That pays for Russ to come out and diagnose the machine. There is no separate diagnostic fee.

You approve the repair price

After diagnosis, Russ explains the repair labor and any parts the machine needs. You are entitled to a written estimate, and no repair work starts without your OK.

Your visit counts toward labor

If you go ahead, the full service-call amount is credited toward the repair labor. Parts and any additional labor are part of the repair price you approve. You do not pay the service call twice.

You can choose not to repair

If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you pay the service call plus tax for the trip and diagnosis.
